Unistar Multimedia Q1 net profit zooms 355.74% at Rs 2.78 cr

The company reported standalone net profit of Rs 2.78 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2023 as compared to Rs 0.61 crore in the same period last year, registering a year-on-year growth of 355.74 per cent.
Net revenue of the company rose three fold by 2540.00 per cent at Rs 9.24 crore in April-June quarter of this fiscal as against Rs 0.35 crore in the corresponding period last year.
During April-June quarter, operating expenses increased by 27550.00 per cent to Rs 5.53 crore from Rs 0.02 crore in year ago period.
Operating Profit surged by 1024.24 per cent to Rs 3.71 crore as against Rs 0.33 crore in the year ago period, while Operating Profit Margin (OPM) contracted year-on-year to 57.17 per cent in June quarter.
Taxation increased by 520.00 per cent at Rs 0.93 crore (Jun'22 Rs 0.15 crore).
